MYSORE DUTY ON GOLD (REPEALING) ACT, 1949

An Act to repeal the Mysore Duty on Gold Act, 1940. Whereas, it is expedient to repeal the Mysore Duty on Gold Act, 1940 (XIX of 1940). It is hereby enacted as follows.-

Section 1 Short title and commencement

(1) This Act may be called the Mysore Duty on Gold (Repealing) Act, 1949.

(2) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may by notification in the Mysore Gazette appoint.

Section 2 Repeal of Act XIX of 1940

The Mysore Duty on Gold Act, 1940 (XIX of 1940), is lereby repealed.
