ANDHRA PRADESH APPROPRIATION ACT, 2004

An Act to authorise the Payments and Appropriations of Moneys from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Andhra Pradesh for the Services of the Financial Year Commencing on the 1st April, 2004. Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Fifty- fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:

Section 1 Short title

This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Appropriation Act, 2004.

Section 2 Appropriation of Rs. 51289, 94,56,000 from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Andhra Pradesh for the financial year commencing on the 1st April, 2004 Act 1 of 2004

The State Government may appropriate from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Andhra Pradesh, for the financial year commencing on the 1st April, 2004, a sum not exceeding fifty one thousand two hundred and eighty nine crores, ninety four lakhs and fifty six thousand rupees which shall be inclusive of the sum of fourteen thousand five hundred seventy eight crores, eighty seven lakhs and seventy six thousand rupees specified in S.2 of the Andhra Pradesh Appropriation (Vote-on-Account) Act, 2004, being moneys required to meet:

(a) the grants made by the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly for that year, as set-forth in column (3) of the Schedule; and

(b) The expenditure charged on the Consolidated Fund of the State of Andhra Pradesh, for the Year, as set-forth in column (4) of the Schedule.

Section 3 Appropriation

The sums authorised to be appropriated from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Andhra Pradesh by this Act, shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the said year.
