An Act further to continue the Kerala Essential Articles Control (Temporary Powers ) Act, 1961
Preamble.- WHEREAS it is expedient to continue the Kerala Essential Articles Control (Temporary Powers) Act, 1961, for a further period
BE it enacted in the Twenty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Kerala Essential Articles Control (Temporary Powers) Continuance Act, 1970.
2. Amendment of section. 1.- In sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Kerala Essential Articles Control (Temporary Powers) Act, 1961 (3 of 1962), for the words “nine years”, the words “eleven years” shall be substituted.
