INDIAN ELECTRICITY (MAH. AMENDMENT) ACT, 1981
[Mah. Act No. XLV of 1981]
1. In Section. 7-A of the Indian Electricity Act, 1910, in its application to the State of Maharashtra (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act"),—
(a) In Clause (b) of sub-section (5) the following shall be substituted namely :—
*[(b) Where any such amount is payable in instalments, the interests shall be payable, at the rate referred to in sub-section (7) of Section 6, for the period from the date of delivery of the undertaking to the date of payment of the last instalment. With the first instalment, such interest shall be paid on the whole amount from the delivery of the undertaking to the date of payment of that instalment. With each subsequent instalment, such interest shall be paid on the amount due after payment of the last preceding instalment for the period from the payment of the last preceding instalment to the date of the succeeding instalment.] |
