HINDU WIDOWS' RE-MARRIAGE (REPEAL) ACT, 1983

An Act to repeal the Hindu Widows' Re-marriage Act, 1856. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Thirty fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE

This Act may be called The Hindu Widows' Re-marriage (Repeal) Act, 1983.

SECTION 02: REPEAL OF ACT 15 OF 1856

The Hindu Widows' Re-marriage Act, 1856 is hereby repealed.
