An Act further to amend the Kerala Contingency Fund Act, 1957 .

      Preamble. — WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Kerala Contingency Fund Act, 1957, for the purpose hereinafter appearing;

      BE it enacted in the Thirty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows: —

       1 . Short title and commencement . — (1) This Act may be called the Kerala Contingency Fund (Amendment) Act, 1983.

       (2) It shall come into force at once.

        2. Amendment of section 2. — In sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Kerala Contingency Fund Act, 1957 (6 of 1957), for the words “eight hundred lakhs of rupees”, the words “fifteen crores of rupees” shall be substituted.
