THE LAND ACQUISITION (WEST BENGAL AMENDMENT) REPEALING ACT, 1978 West Bengal Act 55 of 1978 [3rd February, 1979.] Assent of the President was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 3rd February, 1979. An Act to repeal the Land Acquisition (West Bengal Amendment) Act, 1975. Whereas it is considered proper to re-introduce in West Bengal the solatium provided for in sub-section (2) of section 21 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894; It is hereby enacted as follows :- 1. Short title. - This Act may be called the Land Acquisition (West Bengal Amendment) Repealing Act, 1978. 2. Repeal of West Bengal Act 9 of 1975. - The Land Acquisition (West Bengal Amendment) Act, 1975, is hereby repealed. |
