THE UNITED PROVINCES BADRINATH (SANITATION AND IMPROVEMENT) (REPEAL) ACT, 1975 (U.P. Act No. 27 of 1975) Received the assent of the Governor on 14th August, 1975 published in U.P. Gazette (Extra), dated 18th August, 1975. An Act to repeal the United Provinces Badrinath (Sanitation and Improvement) Act, 1945 and to make consequential provisions It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows: 1. Short title. - This Act may be called the United Provinces Badrinath (Sanitation and Improvement) (Repeal) Act, 1975. 2. Repeal of U.P. Act No. V of 1945 and consequential provisions. - (1) The United Provinces Badrinath (Sanitation and Improvement) Act, 1945, hereinafter referred to as the said Act, is hereby repealed. (2) With effect from the date of commencement of this Act- (a) all powers, functions and duties, under the said Act of Shri Badrinath and Shri Kedarnath Temples Committee constituted under the Uttar Pradesh Shri Badrinath and Shri Kedarnath Temples Act, 1939 (hereinafter called the said Committee) shall stand transferred to and be exercised, performed and discharged by the Notified Area Committee, Badrinath Puri (hereinafter called the Notified Area Committee); (b) any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or incurred by the said Committee under or in pursuance of the provisions of the said Act shall be and be deemed to be transferred to the Notified Area Committee. |
