Notification No. F. 4(34) LJ/A/58, dated 12-4-1958, Published in Rajasthan Gazette, Extraordinary, Part IV-A, dated 14-4-1958, page 39. - The following Act of the Rajasthan State Legislature received the assent of the Governor on the 10th day of April, 1958, and is published for general information:-
An Act further to amend the University of Rajasthan Act.
Be it enacted by the Rajasthan State Legislature in the Ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title. - This Act may be called the University of Rajasthan (Amendment) Act, 1958.
2. Amendment of section 12, University of Rajasthan Act. - In clause (ii) of section 12 of the University of Rajasthan Act-
(i) for the word "sub section" the word "clause" shall be substituted.
(ii) after the words "be reappointed", the words "by the Chancellor on the recommendation of the syndicate only" shall be inserted and shall be deemed always to have been inserted, and
(iii) after the words "in continuation of the first term" the words, brackets and figure "and for such reappointment it shall not be necessary that the procedure laid down in clause (i) is followed" shall be inserted and shall be deemed always to have been inserted.
