THE CITY OF NAGPUR CORPORATION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1964

An Act further to amend the City of Nagpur Corporation Act, 1948
Whereas, it is expedient further to amend the City of Nagpur Corporation Act, 1948, for the purposes hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Fifteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows :-
1. Short title. - This Act may be called the City of Nagpur Corporation (Amendment) Act, 1964.
2. Amendment of section 9 of C. P. and Berar II of 1990. - In section 9 of the City of Nagpur Corporation Act, 1948 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act"), in sub-section (1), in clause (d), for sub-clauses (iii), (iv) and (v), the following shall be substituted, namely :-
"(iii) the Nagpur Zilla Parishad;
(iv) the Central Railway;
(v) the South Eastern Railway; and".
3. Amendment of section 45 of C. P. and Berar II of 1950. - In section 45 of the principal Act, in sub-section (2), in the proviso, for the words "liable to be removed" the words "liable to be recalled to the service of the State" shall be substituted.
