No. Leg.14/2018. - The following Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana received the assent of the Governor of Haryana on the 22nd March, 2018 and is hereby published for general information:-
An Act to adopt the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010, in the State of Haryana.
be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Sixty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title, application and commencement. - (1) This Act may be called the Haryana Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Adoption Act, 2018.
(2) It shall apply to all clinical establishments having more than fifty beds.
[(2A) It shall also apply to all clinical establishments relating to diagnosis or treatment of diseases where pathological, bacteriological, genetic, radiological, chemical, biological investigations or other diagnostic or investigative services are usually carried out with the aid of laboratory or other medical equipment.]
(3) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 25th January,2018.
2. Adoption of central Act 23 of 2010. - The State Government hereby adopts the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010 (Central Act 23 of 2010).
3. Repeal and saving. - (1) The Haryana Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Adoption Ordinance, 2018 (Haryana Ordinance No. 1 of 2018), is hereby repealed.
(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act.
