THE KARNATAKA LAND REVENUE (SECOND AMENDMENT) ACT, 2011

An Act further to amend the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964.
Whereas, it is expedient further to amend the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (Karnataka Act 12 of 1964), for the purposes hereinafter appearing;
Be it enacted by the Karnataka State Legislature in the Sixty Second year of the Republic of India, as follows:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Karnataka Land Revenue (Second Amendment) Act, 2011.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. Amendment of section 94B.- In sub-section (1) of section 94B of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (Karnataka Act 12 of 1964), for the words “within eleven years”, the words “within fourteen years” shall be and shall always be deemed to have been substituted.
